| UCB Australia now has a national radio network of 315+ stations broadcasting the gospel across Australia. Now that the radio network we put in place a number of years ago is starting to age we need to have a support staff member check all our existing installations as well as help with new installations.
While this position is specialised it would really suit a number of people who have enjoyed working with anything electronic from CB or amateur radio, sound systems to computers. The key is a methodical worker who understands connecting electronic devices. You will love the challenge of finding quick and efficient solutions to help get radio services back on-air to keep the radio broadcasting a clear message of Good News.
A vital part of this role will be your ability to coordinate and diagnose basic technical faults. Sometimes this will be providing solutions in person with local laypeople and other times over the phone for those in remote or distant locations.
You will want to be ready to travel to broadcast sites across Australia so some time away from home can be a part of the position. On the job training will be provided for the right applicant including assistance in ensuring you have a working at heights certificate and a satellite installation certificate.
