In 1987, inspired by the success of Radio Rhema in NZ, UCB UK began broadcasting for four hours each night from studios on The Isle of Man. Two decades later, the organisation is a testimony to God's grace and provision. Now based in Stoke-on-Trent., UCB UK is comprised of UCB UK (the station), UCB Inspirational, UCB Bible, UCB Talk, The Word and UCB TV.

On 1 December 2009, UCB UK began digital broadcasts to the whole of Britain. They have a fantastic online shop, UCB2GO, and are the UK base for both The Word For Today and word4U2day by Bob & Debby Gass. UCB UK initiated the 'translation' of The Word for Today into 'youth-speak' and, with the assistance of The Message Trust, based in Manchester, have developed word4U2day as a devotional aimed at teens and twenties.
