UCB Canada

Until 1994 Christian radio was forbidden by law in Canada. However Rev. Gordon Lewis from Cobourg along with Linda and Alar Korgemets from Kitchener were given the vision to see the impossible become reality.
In 2007, having received years of help from the team at UCB International, 102.3 FM Belleville went on air, along with 89.3 FM in Chatham Kent. Today there are also stations in Bancroft, Brockville, Cobourg-Port Hope and Kingston. The Word For Today now has a Canadian edition. New licences have been approved by the regulatory body (the CRTC).
Hockey pucks, Tim Horten's coffee, maple syrup cold winters and a wonderful bunch of people all go to make up the UCB Canada team.
