August : FEAR

Fear can paralyse us to inactivity - the fear of failure can stop us from even beginning. But God’s Word says "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1 or again in Romans 8:31 Paul says “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Our fear is often irrational and founded in a lie but that doesn’t make it any less effective at stopping us to become all that God intended us to be.

Let’s pray this month for Christian men and women across our nation that they will experience freedom from the shackles of fear.

· To step into the ministry that God is calling them to

· To share their faith with their friends and family

· To stand up for the Gospel

· To love as Christ loves us.

Let’s combat this ‘giant’ through:

1. sincere repentance

2. prayer & fasting

3. dedication to the Word

4. Godly action

5. speaking truth
