About UCB Australia
UCB Australia (United Christian Broadcasters Australia Ltd.) exists to see positive change in the lives of Australians. We're everyday people with a real passion to see many people come into a new or deeper relationship with Christ.
In this highly mobile and media savvy world, we believe one of the best ways to reach people where they're at is through mass media – radio, TV, print, the internet, and emerging communication technologies like data to mobile phones, and so on. We're passionate about the media.
Combine these 2 passions – people and media – and you get UCB Australia as it exists today; primarily a broadcaster and publisher. Our key activities include the following:
The Vision Radio Network is Australia's national Christian radio broadcaster, delivering a mix of adult contemporary Christian music, news and talk. Vision is a "narrowcast" (niche) network broadcasting across the nation 24 hours a day seven days a week via satellite from small, but 'high-tech', studios in Brisbane to hundreds of relay stations across Australia. These relay stations are broadcasting in cities, towns and rural communities, including many isolated towns who would realistically never be able to start their own Christian radio station.
Vision owns some high powered open narrowcast FM and AM licences (the most powerful being 50,000 watts) but the majority of our stations are low powered open narrowcast FM licences (typically 1-10 watts each). Every month we are continuing to expand our coverage and bring on more new stations. In non-broadcast areas people can still choose to listen either direct-from-satellite, via the internet, or using our free app for smartphones (just search for 'UCB').

word4U2day is a devotional that is based on the writings of Bob and Debby Gass found in The Word for Today but revised and repackaged to meet the needs of Australian young people. It aims to encourage young people to live a life dedicated to God. word4U2day has been published by UCB in Australia since 2009 and is also available on our website, by email, through Facebook or our free app for smartphones (just search for 'UCB')

UCB Direct's mantle is to equip and resource believers in line with Jesus' command to "Feed My Sheep" through the provision of quality teaching and inspirational resources. UCB Direct is also a natural extension of our broadcasting ministry as many of the contributors heard on Vision Radio Network have books, DVD's, CD's and other helpful tools to help people grow in their faith, and many are available through UCB Direct. Life is full of ups and downs, we recognise that from time to time everyone goes through points of need or crisis in their life. In the 2001 census 69% of Australians indicated they believe in a Christian faith.
Anyone at anytime can phone 1800 PrayForMe (1800 772 936) for personal prayer or email or TXT their request to our prayer team. There are Christian Churches around Australia and in your local community who are committed to praying 7 days a week. Requests can remain anonymous and can be for anything from; terminal illness, family members, friends, employment, in fact people can request any need they may have it doesn't matter how large or small they think it is, as far as God is concerned, everything about our lives is of paramount importance to Him.

Services to Christian Radio
UCB Provides a number of services to other Christian Broadcasters, including a Christian Worldview news service (UCB News), access to The Word for Today, programme distribution and other support services.
Strategic Alliances
UCB has a key strategic alliance with ACC (the Australian Christian Channel), plus a strong working relationship with many other broadcasters around Australia. We are a member of, and contributor to, CMA (Christian Media Australia).
Through our membership with UCB International, (United Christian Broadcasters International) we are also able to benefit from being part of a much wider global family of broadcasters.
